In my search for unique engagement rings, I came across this stunning emerald cut sapphire ring from the flickr album of Ralph Rayner at Rumor in London.
I love the contrast of the dark sapphire stone against the diamonds and white gold, it’s so classic! I always feel like it’s a big step to get into the colored stones when choosing an engagement ring, but if you want something bold and beautiful, this is the way to go. It’s unique enough to stand out in a crowd, but classic enough to keep you grounded.
The woman I used to nanny for in Chicago had a giant sapphire ring flanked by diamonds. It was the first time I had seen such an engagement ring, and I loved it! She is one of the classiest ladies I know, so I knew it had to be "way cooler than a standard diamond".
ReplyDeleteGreat find--this one is gorgeous!
This ring looks almost identical to my engagement ring that I designed! My engagement ring is an emerald diamond flanked by 2 sapphire baguettes flanked by 2 smaller diamond baguettes. I get compliments on it every day. SO HAPPY to see that more people are taking notice to the beauty of sapphires in the engagement rings! Such a gorgeous, stand out, art-deco-inspired look. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWow. I have never seen such a classic ring ever. I really liked it. I wish I could get one of this type on my wedding.
