PANTONE Wedding

I love it when Brides/Grooms/Wedding Coordinators take the time to coordinate all the color details in a wedding. Most people wouldn't notice if the bridesmaids shoes didn't match the table linens, but I do. Luckily The Dessy Group is making it a whole lot easier for you to create a perfectly matched event. Check out their new PANTONE Wedding products here.

You can purchase an assortment of products for your wedding including dresses, vests, ties, and accessories. They'll also provide you with a handful of swatches in your specific color to pass out to your bridesmaids, florist, or stationer. That would really make life a little easier, don't you think?

A San Francisco Color Pallette

I'm loving this garden inspired blue and red color pallette I saw the other day over at Style Me Pretty. It's amazing how many different patterns, textures and yummy goodies can be found in a color pallette like this! Perfect for a shower, engagement party or small wedding reception!

Color Inspiration

A little color palette inspiration to brighten up your Monday morning!

This real wedding from the knot features Megan and Casey and their outdoor wedding celebration in Hailey, Idaho. Aside from the gorgeous colors, one of my favorite details happens to be the spider mums that pop up throughout.

Artichoke Color Inspirations

I’m not sure what draws me to them, but artichokes have my attention! I love their rustic color, unusual shape and ability to transform into a place card! I love those prints you can sometimes find of vintage artichoke diagrams and what not, I covet them for my kitchen.

While the artichoke is awesome and all, I’m not sure it’s appropriate to carry a vegetable through out your wedding décor. But that doesn’t mean you can’t use it for inspiration! Here are a few of my favorite artichoke inspirations.

Autumn Mood Board

It's getting closer to that time again... yes, autumn! Luckily I love this time of year, where the smells and scenes tickle your senses. Aside from all the goodies fall brings, the colors put on a show of their own!

I absolutely love the deep saturated colors we often see in autumn, especially when translated into a wedding. However, sometimes it seems like brides feel the need to incorporate every single fall color into their wedding, resulting in a tie-dye effect. Since the colors are already so bold, think about possibly picking just one and carrying it throughout the wedding. You could even go so far as to choose shades of that same color, like this mood board from green wedding shoes. I love the dark pink and plum shades!

Gorgeous Green!

Ever since I repainted my guest bath (a mellow shade of green), I've been on the prowl for more green things. Here's a little taste of green, until the grass starts coming back!

Color me pretty

I love color, that’s just a known fact. But aside from that I love shades of color… shades that have a common theme, and that flow together naturally. This is exactly why I love the latest bridesmaid trend of wearing different shades from a common color scheme.

Style Me Pretty had a beautiful example on one of her more recent blog posts, featuring the wedding of Day & Max.

All of the dresses are unified as they fall under the same sunny shade of grapefruit, and each girl can feel comfortable picking out a shade that is right for her!

Meant to Bee

A honey inspired wedding... how sweet!

As I’m sipping my honey laced chamomile tea this morning, it occurred to me that this sweet substance could be a great color and theme inspiration for a wedding! Outdoors, amongst the birds and the bees, is where you’ll find this spring-time wedding.

Red, Yellow, and Grey inspirations

Looking for a bold yet chic color scheme for your wedding? Go for a few bright hues, like red and yellow, paired with a neutral shade of grey! The bright colors keep things exciting and the grey tones it down, keeping it classy. My favorite part of this inspiration board are those Christian Louboutin shoes... oh! Who doesn't want to own a sexy pair of red shoes?!

(row 1): Cake, gown, cookie favors.

Something blue bridal shower

Even if you’re color scheme doesn’t involve blue, you can always carry on the “something blue” tradition in your bridal shower! A fun play on the old saying, this shower theme includes bright blue hues with exaggerated accessories; like a giant diamond ring paperweight! The crisp blue and white color scheme will transform your bridal shower into a luxe celebration!

Swirls and pearls invitation, diamond ring paperweight, white farm vase, french paper, blue mini-cube favor boxes, glass coasters, cupcake tree, blue alba slim vase.

Color hunter

I love finding new color inspirations, especially ones that comes from nature (those are the best)! So it’s no surprise that I love this tool: color hunter

You simply upload a photo from your pile of inspirations and viola, it pulls colors, hues and tones from that exact photo. How easy! This would be very helpful to those brides just beginning the planning process, and may not know what they want just yet.

Above, I chose a photo from Martha Stewart Weddings, here, and got an array of whimsical colors to choose from. My prayers have been answered!
