PANTONE Wedding

I love it when Brides/Grooms/Wedding Coordinators take the time to coordinate all the color details in a wedding. Most people wouldn't notice if the bridesmaids shoes didn't match the table linens, but I do. Luckily The Dessy Group is making it a whole lot easier for you to create a perfectly matched event. Check out their new PANTONE Wedding products here.

You can purchase an assortment of products for your wedding including dresses, vests, ties, and accessories. They'll also provide you with a handful of swatches in your specific color to pass out to your bridesmaids, florist, or stationer. That would really make life a little easier, don't you think?

Color me pretty

I love color, that’s just a known fact. But aside from that I love shades of color… shades that have a common theme, and that flow together naturally. This is exactly why I love the latest bridesmaid trend of wearing different shades from a common color scheme.

Style Me Pretty had a beautiful example on one of her more recent blog posts, featuring the wedding of Day & Max.

All of the dresses are unified as they fall under the same sunny shade of grapefruit, and each girl can feel comfortable picking out a shade that is right for her!

Black market bridesmaid

I am in love with this stylish dress over at White House Black Market, especially on one of your bridesmaids! The folded black organza creates a flirty and fun strapless neckline, covering both the front and back. It's very appropriate for that modern wedding in the city feel, and would fit right in at cocktail hour. Let your ladies show their sexy side with this dress and a pair of colorful stilettos!

The price tag is pretty sexy too, at $95.00!

House of brides

Millions of name brand dresses at a 20-30% discount.

For example: Dessy 2044

Would usually retail at $240 or more in a boutique, is available at HOB for $166. And they will ship the dresses to one address for free. This bridesmaid’s dress is the one I actually chose for my girls to wear (and looked so flattering on everyone), and ordered it from HOB, which was a huge success!

Check it out if you get a chance.

J. Crew color splash

In the last couple of years J. Crew has extended their clothing line to wedding attire, which was a genius idea on their part. With the already established style, you can be sure their gowns and dresses will be stylized and chic on every girl.

I enjoy browsing their new collections from time to time and dreaming up a fantasy modern wedding world. The J. Crew dresses fit right in with my modern imaginary bridal party as they dress in black with fun, bright shoes. Wow, kind of like the ones above.

Gold digger!

Inspired by Jennifer Behr's holiday collection, I have decided to put together an inspiration board for a dazzling New Years Eve wedding. This wedding includes a glowing gold and chocolate brown color scheme with a vintage and formal feel. Links below.
