Hello Frosting!

I ran across these ingenious edible icing decals while perusing one of my favorite Etsy shops (Olliegraphic). hello frosting creates edible frosting decals that are an easy and economical way to pump up those plain cupcakes, cookies or whatever!

The designs are printed on thin sheets of edible icing using food-grade inks, so they're safe to eat and can be totally customized. They have lots of designs to choose from, wedding related and more.

And, by collaborating with Meg over at Olliegraphic, hello frosting now offers a selection of customized decals featuring an illustration of your child. How fun would a birthday party be with cupcakes that look like the birthday girl (or boy)?

Easy DIY Packaging Kits

We have a busy summer ahead of us… a handful of showers, weddings, and a baby on the way! With all of these exciting events on the horizon, I’ve been spending a lot of time looking for those perfect details on Etsy; some twine for this project, envelopes for that, and the list goes on.

 

While knee deep in the craftiness, I found this shop: belladrummer. Debee runs the adorable little shop, which is based out of San Diego, and chocked full of little embellishments and supplies to make all your crafting projects shine.

 I love these packaging kits, which include everything you need to bundle up a little gift in style. They’d be so perfect for bridesmaid or flower girl gifts, and don’t involve a lot of extra effort!

Jumbo balloons take center stage

Balloons pretty much scream party, so why not scream a little louder with these jumbo balloons. They're so adorable as embellishments at a birthday party, but also versatile enough to be featured at the cake table as well!

I love the fact that the balloons take center stage, so large floral centerpieces are no longer necessary. This might also be a good option if your venue has high ceilings, or for a dramatic entry way.

Etch it up!

Okay, okay, I know this is a little off topic, but to be fair, these are too cool not to pass on! These red etch it' up cups are so fun, and useful! I found these at Plum Party, and would totally use them at a casual BBQ or picnic style reception, or just for a fun back yard party! All you do is peel back the white paper to reveal your personal chalk board, and then just use your nail or a key to etch in your name. Easy.
