Well, I suppose it was bound to happen. Monday afternoon, as I wrote and scheduled the Avon Giveaway post, I had no idea I was about to go into labor. Emily was born at 7:46 am, weighing in at 6 pounds 4 ounces, 19 inches long. We're overjoyed with this new blessing, and are drinking in every moment we have with her. I'm officially on maternity leave for 8 weeks, and will plan on posting as I have the chance.

Great name!! Make sure you read her a lot of Clifford the Big Red Dog books. The main character is named Emily Elizabeth. I'm sure she'll LOVE that!
